brief illustrated history of mankind

As much as one would like to be able to tell the history of mankind, it is so extensive, complex and filled with details that this is a nearly impossible task. So here it is, the history of the human race, in pictures.
For me, this voyage through time was terribly interesting for two main reasons:
- I had never before seen such a good summary;
- I think I'm able to indentify four main tendencies that repeat themselves cyclically through time: war, women, sex and intrigue.
... Or is it just me?

Yes! Fantastic show of the true reality when you strip mankind down to the bone: sex, war, violence, "progress".

Marvellous.
I,myself draw and think things like that.
But my skills, are way back.It needs time,it's still
evolving.
It was hell of a feeling seeing, and 'studing' what you drew.
Time for more work,for me.

No,I don't know that name or that man.
But that's not the point here,is it? :)
It's about the drawings first.

He is an italian comics creator. But you're right, the drawings first and before that, the idea.
Very good, I believe...

Accurate rendition. It would be a nice gesture to add the signature of the artist behind the work. It looks like Milo Manara to me.

It is Milo Manara indeed, Fabián.
Thank you for your remark.

A very researched piece. i took a good 10 minutes watching each and every character in depth , delight for the minds eye. Who is the blue guy sitting in the center in the last slide?

This is very impressive; however, this illustrated history of "mankind" is not really mankind at all, but white men. There were lots of things going on all over the world during certain times, but this only portrays the European and American white men viewpoints. The non-whites were just clustered into two cells for the most part. I don't mean to complain, this is very impressive, but it cannot truly be called a history of mankind.
"I think I'm able to indentify four main tendencies that repeat themselves cyclically through time: war, women, sex and intrigue." I don't believe that it's accurate to say that women were one of the "tendencies" that repeated themselves. Were/Are not women also human? I just hate it when people talk about women like they are things instead of people.
